I’m currently interning at CBRE Build, part of the Digital and Technology division within CBRE. Alongside my teammates, I’m designing a data solution to quickly process, store, and transfer millions of transactions with detailed information between users and our database. We’re hoping to reduce the processing time to under 20% of the current 14-hour time. This can bring down the unnecessary spending on CPUs and storage, limit latency when delivering data to other services, and be packaged as a service to be used for other types of data. The pipeline would power a web application called Deal IQ, which is an asset and deal management tool developed at CBRE Build Seattle office with almost 3000 users and growing.
I'm also involving with other parts of the app including some front-end development. The parts of the project's tech stack that I am and may be involved in includes, but not limited to, Django, ReactJS, AngularJS, Postgres, AWS, ElasticSearch, Docker, Jupyter, and Celery. I'll add more details about my time at CBRE Build and the project near the end of my internship so stay tune!
Here is a brief overview of the UI and some basic functionalities.
